Artist Trading Cards

These are the first Artist Trading Cards I've made. Thanks to Gail at "Mind Wide Open" for inspiring me to get started in making ATC's.
My two sisters, my youngest daughter, and an artist friend were the recipients. They received their individual, one-of-a-kind, ATC inside a little sack along with a tiny easel to use to display their small piece of art. My cards were their introduction to ATC's. I'm anxiously waiting to receive back their creative trades to start my ATC collection.

Pictured below are two of the little sacks (bags). The bag pattern as well as the decorative papers, trims, and some of the images I used to make the bags came from "Shabby Cottage Studio," thanks again Gail.

  2. Thanks JoanMarie,
The lighthouse ATC was made for my sister who lives in Havre De Grace MD, it is the Concord Point Lighthouse. I made the cards for my two sisters, my daughter, and an art teacher friend where I work. I did receive a lovely gift for the ATC I created for my art teacher friend. However she still has not made me an ATC. My sisters tell me they don't know what to make, yet they are creative. My daughter has been way too busy.

As for the bags, the idea is from Gail at the Shabby Cottage. The images on the bags and the ATC's were choosen for the individuals.

Would you be interested in trading an ATC?

In your previous messsage you mentioned that I haven't posted for quite a while. I've been trying to get back to creating. I stopped writing and sewing and painting some time ago. I still knit a little. Every month I download Gale's image thinking I'm going to do something. I would like to take some classes for digital arts. I purchased the Adobe Elements 7, but I really do not know how to use it.

Have a great day! Spring is here!!
