    Ooo, the carnation is so pretty...love the pink color and all the frills of the petals. It brings back childhood school memories of making carnations with Kleenex tissues. That was so much fun.

    Thanks for stopping by, Linda. We had a quiet and peaceful birthday dinner last night at home...my favorite kind. :) Carnations remind me of my dad. He wore them often to church and my mom purchased them a lot because they last long. I think their simplicity is what makes me link them to my dad, he was such a kind and humble soul.
