Calling All Angels...

Happy Pink Saturday my friends!
October is breast cancer awareness month but this week I'd like to make you aware of another type of cancer. My PS post this week is dedicated to my niece Samantha. I want to help her promote her new Etsy shop because proceeds from her sales will be going to a worthy cause. Please read her Etsy profile statement below and then hop on over to her shop by clicking on the photo.
I think I see some pretty pink flowers.

Samantha's Etsy profile statement:

"I've always loved making things, being creative, reusing old pieces... Etsy is giving me a chance to do something fun, practical, and hopefully worth owning/wearing! :)

I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on September 8, 2011. I've decided that $1 from any item $10 and under, and $2 from any item $11.00 and above, will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (and the Light the Night Walk) to help raise funds that will go towards finding a cure.

It's important to give back, and If I am lucky enough to sell items on Etsy, I'd like to be doing it for a good cause. "

To help Samantha reach her fund raising goals I will be donating $2.00 from the sale of any item in my Esty shop Stonecrop Cottage during the month of October. I'm also requesting that all of my Prayer Warrior Angels in blogland will add Samantha to your lists.

Last but not least a big thank you to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting our fun Pink Saturday blog hops!

  14. My 5 year old great niece was diagnosed with leukemia in January. My niece (her Aunt) got a team together "Gracie's Girls" and did the Light the Night Walk here in Northern VA. They raised almost $5,000. and I was a proud sponsor. Such a wonderful cause...I wish you much success and will keep Samantha in my thoughts and prayers.
