Pink Saturday ~ April 2, 2011

Happy Pink Saturday!
No, this is not an April Fool's Day joke.
Pink Saturday usually begins on a Friday after 5:00 PM. It is a fun event brought to you by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound each and every week. Click here to hop on over to visit her P.S. post.  While you are there you might want to pick out a few of the other participants to visit as well. I'm sure you will have an inspirational trip. I decided to show some of my favorite Easter decorations today.

I painted Peter in one of those popular ceramic classes years ago, (more than 20 years ago). He is sporting a bit of pink.  Another old decoration is my yellow (sorry, no pink) fuzzy duck (from another craft class). Perhaps I'll refresh the yellow bow with a pink ribbon. The tin bunny is not as old, and I did not make it, but he is cute and he is wearing a pink vest.  Have a great weekend and a super week!

  2. You have some very cute Easter decorations. I am not a big decorator anymore for any occasions. However, I am thinking of doing some little something for Easter. If I do, I definitely will blog it.

  6. Happy Pink Saturday, Linda! And oh my gosh, I did ceramics when Jenny was little--and guess what I made--a bunny! It was so cute, but it broke in the earthquake. I love seeing yours...I swear, I think our journeys have been so tandem...that's why there's such a connection. Pretty amazing, huh?

  8. You actually painted Peter yourself? I'm impressed, it is a professional job!! I love the yellow duck and think he would look better with pink ribbon. That would make him a her, I guess!!

  15. Hi Linda!
Thanks for the visit and for your nice comments. You asked about the source of an Easter graphic and I'm pretty sure that one came from the Graphics Fairy. You can get there by looking under my list of favorites (on sidebar). I just love that site and have posted about it many times. If you don't find it there, click on the blue and white teacup on my sidebar and that takes you to another great free graphics site. I also purchase graphics from Etsy.
I just love your Eater goodies ~ it's closer than we think, no?
    Hugs,
