A Thoughtful Gift...

My favorite Christmas story is "The Gift Of The Magi." I mentioned this last year in a blog post. It is a favorite story for my dear friend Cindy Adkins too. Several weeks ago I received a package from Cindy and written on the package were the instructions, "Open on December 25th."  On Christmas morning I opened my package to find a truly thoughtful gift. I made a visit to Cindy's blog Whimsical Musings to find that Cindy had also posted a Christmas story about her gift to me. I love my journal and the thoughtfulness of the gift. Look at all the details Cindy used to tell the story. If you do not know the story here is a link to a U-Tube reading of the story that I thought was nicely done.

  5. Hi Linda
Thank you for sharing this beautiful and thoughtful gift. Any of who know Cindy know that she is such a caring woman.
I want to thank you for visiting my Blog and your recent comment on my Ophelia card. I replied to your comment over there but wanted to tell you that I use lots of scraps on my work, this piece of text being exactly that. Looking at it I would say it is from Oxford Impressions' Beloved plate. Wanting to provide you with the link I visited their on-line store but it looks as though the set might be discontinued (such a pity as it is gorgeous) as I cannot source it. Hero Arts do a lovely French Script stamp. Like you I stamp on ribbon, binding, etc so the size of text is all important. Wish I could be more helpful to you.
Linda, the New Year is approaching and I would like to wish you all the very best for 2012 and to say thank you for being a friend of my Blog.
    Warmest Wishes
    Lynne
