Giving Thanks!

Lynn at The Vintage Nest is having a Giving Thanks blog party. She invited everyone and she is giving away prizes too. Stop by her blog and say hello, then follow the party links of gratitude.
I'm thankful to Lynn for inspiring us with her thoughtfulness and for sharing her creativity.

I am very grateful for my freedom. I am so thankful that I'm living in a country where I can live and work and worship as I choose. I'm grateful to our men and women who have served and who are currently serving in our military branches. Their sacrifice allows me the freedom that I have.

I'm thankful to have a family that I will be sharing a bountiful table with this Thanksgiving. I am grateful to God for all the blessings we have.
This was the Thanksgiving table setting last year at my house.

After feasting on turkey and all the trimmings came desserts.
Pumpkin pie, apple pie and carrot cake.

And this year...
I'm thankful to have a brother and a sister-in-law
and I am gratiful that they have invited us to their house for
"Thanksgiving" dinner.

  1. Hi Linda,
happy thanksgiving to you,too- your table with all the yummy disches ,looked wonderfull.
You asked me some weeks ago, what my shoe was made of!sorry for only answering now,,it is a piece of new fabric-don`t know what kind, but soft and movable, which helps, when adding the sole-I did all by hand :)
Not much of an answer,--did you make yours?
